Loisaba is immense and its adventures endless. The property sits on a vital Elephant Corridor connecting Laikipia Plateau, and also is home to one of Kenya’s largest lion populations, as well as a number of critically endangered large mammals including Grevy’s zebra, wild dog, leopard and cheetah. Game drives are just one of the ways to experience the area’s incredible wildlife. Join a traditional Samburu guide on a bush walk to learn about the local flora, fauna and culture. Experience the exhilaration of horseback riding on the plains with a herd of zebra. Or fish one of the great rivers that spans the vast property. Children will enjoy special warrior training, guided bush walks and visits to the Samburu village or to meet the anti-poaching sniffer dogs.

Each day delights, with lavish bush breakfasts, picnic lunches and sundowners – the perfect time to gather and share visions of what another day of adventure may bring. Meal times are flexible and there is individual dining. World-class cuisine is accompanied by a premium wine list. Individual dietary requests can be satisfied with advance notice; a children’s menu is available.

The Loisaba airstrip is a one-hour flight from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport, and a 15-minute drive from Lodo Springs. The camp coordinates are N0°38’17” E36°49’09” and it lies within the Laikapa plateau. Laikapa is the gateway to Kenya’s northern rangelands, north of the Aberdares Mountain Range. This is the only spot in Africa where wildlife and habitat numbers are actually on the rise.
